I have told everyone here numerous times, but I also run a business out of my home, I go to peoples houses (as far as an hour drive away) and fix thier problems. Unfortunately I am unemployed and just paying things like rent, utilities and food are difficult. :( I do plan to donate to at least some of the free programs I use as soon as my income improves. :D I am very grateful to all those who offer such programs and do recommend them to others. I also build all the machines for my son's business and he or I install paid for (commercial) versions of all the usually freebie items. He also, perhaps unusually, pays for ALL of his software and abides by the licence agreements. Honesty too far? No, I don't think so. The software authors could easily charge for what they create but instead choose to release it freely to benefit as many people as possible, months of coding and testing just given out for free. A fiver isn't worth what they could say you have to pay, but it's a thank you for all the effort they put in.Once I can set up Paypal and have some funds, I can straight away think of 5-6 projects I'll be sending £5 to.
