Weekdays/weekends - there are a number of us here where this distinction doesn't make a lot of difference.

This is because we are not encumberd by this thing called work any more :)

It's great eh pops? I voted midnight as being the nearest. it's usually between 11-30 and 12.

I am only now beginning to see that light (retirement) at the end of the tunnel. I plan to retire in 6 more years. My wife has already retired (forced because of medical reasons) and enjoys every day of it. :)

Anyone who complains to me that they don't know how they are going to

cope when they retire, needs stuffing with the rough end of a rag mans trumpet. They must lead extremely sad lives. I don't have time to work.

Same here. :)

May be just an illusion though and it's just me slowing down :(

It has been said that an hour of sleep before midnight is worth two after. I'm begining to think there may be some truth to that. Since my student days my body clock has been messed about so much that I gave up going to bed before midnight because I never fell asleep before then anyway. Thankfully I can still get 8 hours kip in which just about keeps me going.

I usually go to bed around 11 pm., but it varies 'cause I am in constant pain from a disability and don't sleep much anyway. :(

Sorry to hear about your problem. 'Er indoors has some bad nights at times with the pain from her arthritis.

Sorry to hear about that Joyness. What disability do you suffer from?

Thanks for the kind words deuces wild and andsome.

I suffer from a severe case of fibromyalgia with arthritis and eczema of the hands.

It is a most distressing syndrome because I never know from day to day how much, if anything I will be able to do :(

I try to keep a positive attitude though and that does help :)
