Scarecrow Man
I got hit by a women driver today. (I mean nothing against women or women drivers.. it was just a coincidence) Tried to blame it on me, when my car was hit from the side, and hers was obviously from the front. Unless my car is magical and can drive sideways, I can't see how that would happen. (considering it costed $500 which is approx. ₤200)It just had to happen on my birthday :(
doug
What a way to have your birthday ruined. Have to watch out for these women drivers chaps. They're getting careless and accident prone. I think there's quite a few out there on the roads.
andsome
Some of the worst drivers on the road today in my opinion are young women company reps. They seem to have taken over from idiot youths. Many get their first reps job and are given a choice of a car. Instead of choosing a sensible roomy saloon which is ideal to carry all their paper work and samples etc,, they choose a super hotted up hatch back and tear around all over the place. Many time when I was still on the road as a rep, passing a line of slower traffic, driving dead on the legal speed limit, I have experienced these idiots streaking up behind me, driving inches from my rear bumper, lights flashing, in an attempt to make me move over into a gap which is NOT large enough. The attitude seems to be that they intend to show all the men how GOOD they are.

ranger
Reminds me of a couple of year back when I was driving down the outside lane of a main road when a woman drove out of a side street and across into my lane, I braked hit the horn and swerved in as much as I could, resulting in my car being more sideswiped rather than frontal damage. She was vey apologetic to me and my wife and we exchanged as much details as we had, but I was to phone her with my Insurance details next day (couldn't remember full details at time). The next day I phoned her with the details, and what a change, very aggresive and saying that the accident was my fault and that I had come out the same street as her but on the wrong side of the road and that was how she didn't seem me and managed to hit me, I told her that I wasn't going to argue with her and that we would leave it up to the insurance companies, what she didn't know was, a taxi driver and another motorist had seen the accident and had given me their names and addresses, needless to say her insurance co paid up for all the damage and I got my excess refundedPS. Always try to get a independant witness, it really does help
nellie2
Excuse me... I'm a woman driver and a good one too. No accidents under my belt. But a lot of near misses concerning other drivers of both gender.

hftmrock
I have to say that I see more women drivers that are dangerous. I even tried an experiment with my wife. I told her that she should complain to me each time she saw a driver who was driving badly in her opinion. She was sure that there would be more men. We did it for about 3 months and turns out she saw a lot more women drivers driving badly then men. It totally changed her mind. She is a good driver but she now readily admits that women drive worse then men.
andsome
I've lost count of the number of women I have seen turning round to speak to rear seated passengers, or applying make up whilst driving.

lester1
ok think what you like.... but I can still get cheap insurance based on the fact that I AM A WOMAN :DThis will change! I have noticed the number of Girl racers is on the increase. Instead of the wait wait wait syndrome more women drivers are taking chances when pulling out of junctions or overtaking.
