But I have too options and don't know which one is better: 1.- a partition just for the system files and the other one for programs files and my personal files2.- a partition for system files and program files and a partition for personal fileswhich one is the best option??thanks,Toti
trackrat
Personally I would go with option 2, that is the way mine is set up.

Belatucadrus
Option three, I keep most stuff on C & run a weekly backup to Partition D.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
It really depends on the size of your personal files. If it's just a few MB, then it's not worth to keep them in a separate partition. Either way, Belatucadrus' option 3 above seems the best to me. -pops-
I'd go for option 3 as well. all the machines I build are arranged that way - never had a complaint!
r4may
Option 3 is probably the best, gets my vote anyway
