Watchful
Only joined yesterday and did a few posts but no notice of these. Thought my board/e-mail settings were OK but anyway, only got one reply  and had to search for it.
andsome
In E-mail setting in your control panel, the settings should be like this.
Watchful
Morning andsome and thank you. My boxes are ticked just the same but I have 'immediate e-mail notification' set. Should I change that to 'delayed'?PS. I did actually just get your reply! it must be fixed.
andsome
Mine is set to delayed after I had problems with multiple notifications. Craig advised me to change the setting. I think that every time someone replied to a post while I was on line, this was sent, and e-mails just kept building up. Mine generally works fine now, with just the odd duplication now and then. I was doing a part time B.Sc. at what was then Bradford Technical College. On registration night there was the usual queue enquiring the whereabouts of the appropriate registration desks. In front of me were two girls, who asked the man at the enquiry desk where they should go for the Finance course. He told them that they were not eligible. They look shocked and perturbed, and asked why. "Surely you must have heard?" he said," There's no accounting for women".Welcome, do you come bearing stew and hard?
