New board for seniors

May I suggest that a new board is introduced to the Forum dedicated to us seniors.

There are quite a few regular contributors to the Forum who are pensioners with common interests. A dedicated board would provide the means for them to exchange views and information of mutual interest and benefit such as :-

Andsome could give us advice on beauty treatments and the source of the Viagra scalp ointment which enables his brain to expand to the size of a planet.

We could compare the performance of our zimmers and stair lifts – maximum speed, acceleration from zero to full walking speed etc

We could keep each other up to date on the latest anti wrinkle cream and anti aging herbs and potions.

We could compare hearing aids and battery life etc.

We may be able to organise a group discount with suppliers of deep heat ointment, senna tablets, pampers, horse linament, rennies, carters little liver pills, vitamin pills, prostate potions and other necessities.

What do you think guys and dolls?

Nice idea, but i'm sure there are other forums that cater for those type of discussions and until you posted this topic there was no need for a seperate board.

If we have a seniors board we couldn't really say no to a umm youth board etc...

What a good idea. I suggest the test for eligibility is to be able to describe "carters little liver pills". :D

VERY TINY.

By the way, I don't need Viagra in any shape or form, my beauty and brains are entirely natural. I don't use a zimmer, stair lift or beauty aids etc. So I could make VERY little contribution to such a board. :D

I don't take this as an entirely serious suggestion. Just one of AlanHo's many little jokes which I thought very funny.

You wouldn't think it so funny if you had to wear thick heavy glasses, you were deaf without hearing aids, your zimmer was an old and clapped out model that took 25 seconds to accelerate from zero to shuffling speed, your stair lift vibrated so badly it was the only sexual thrill you got, your pampers kept falling down and you rattled with all the pills you were taking - not to mention some real difficulties in the bathroom.

I make a serious suggestion and I get ridiculed for it - the World is such a cruel and hearless place for us oldies.

I can create a seperate board for you old folk, but you will need to pay the Windows Forum OAP TAX.

The current rate stands at £150 per month each, (applicable to all old people over the age of 29).

I take debit or credit card, but no cheques, and especially no cash from the £40,000,000 heist I know you old folk were in on.

I knew we'd have trouble getting rid of those shiny new notes. . :D :D
