We are supposed to believe that one spouse knows nothing after co-signing for a huge loan, and then finds that it has been settled within a month. Pull the other one, it has bells on it. Our little cherub has implicit faith in her.

We all know the term, 'a marriage of convenience', this is more than likely a separation of convenience. It is yet another instance of Labour having complained fully justifiably about Tory sleaze when they were in office, have succeeded in outdoing them. She will more than likely end up the same as B'liars old mate Mandelson, with a nice cushy little number at a grossly obscene salary.

Is it not slightly risky speaking of a convenience, Mandelson and marriage all in one paragraph?

By convenience you probably mean the toilet, throne room, bog, or bathroom as our American friends call it. :P

The latest twist to emerge in this sorry charade is fascinating and raises some very serious questions :-

http://observer.guardian.co.uk/politics/st...1723902,00.html

How can a Cabinet Minister be married to a man whose life revolves round 'legally' defrauding our tax authorities, and others around the world, without being party to what he is doing? She must be an accessory by just keeping her mouth shut.

Why is there no clamping down on this legalised swindling? Is it because there are lots of other 'high placed' people involved? If the Italian PM is into it how far does it go in our government? Has anyone yet been given a contract for the supply of several barrels of whitewash to be delivered to Whithall in brown paper wrappings?

The amount of tax avoided must enormous judging by the figures bandied around and the apparent amount of reward for doing the manipulations.

This is the bunch who accused the TORIES, (rightly so) of sleaze. They have turned out to be far worse. It is a well established fact that many of the rich have got considerably richer and many of the poor have got considerably poorer under this administration. Just look at the disgraced who have ended up with gravy train jobs.
