Thos Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 My favourite sport is Formula One motor racing and I have been waiting with great anticipation for the opening of the 2006 season.It has come today with the first qualifying session for tomorrow's race in Bahrein. Super new qualifier and the promise of a great season ahead.Ferrari's on the first row with Jenson Button right behind and Raikkenan's McClaren in bits on the back row!Roll on tomorrow.Thos. Though the first half hour was often boring. But the new qualy is a good second best , I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am mortified about spoiling it for you though, Chris.Thos. I sincerely hope that they have. Pit stops with tyre changes make the race far more of a team effort, as a bad or good stop can loose or win the race. I saw Stirling Moss, Fangio, Mike Hawthorn too if I remember right, and I'm sure jack Brabham. It was round about 1954. Correct me if I haven't remembered the correct names.
