Without talking of blame or guilt of the defendant, I have been tremendously moved by the evidence. Notably the harrowing audio tapes played back in court. The horror of the ordeal those passengers endured is incredible and their bravery in counter-attacking to attempt to get control back to the pilots, is beyond measure.They knew of the World Trade Centre attacks and this spurred them on to try to do something. I suppose they died never knowing what their actions had averted and America and those of us who believe in a free world should be in awe of their heroism.Thos. Why should he go to the Muslim heaven with 32 virgins waiting for him. I hope he rots in prison until at lest the age of 90, and I hope that the other prisoners get hold of him on as many occasions as possible. I don't quite understand what Rong is getting at.Point two. I don't claim to know whether or not heaven exists. I was merely stating what most of these suicide bombers are said to believe. Namely, that if they die as martyrs, they will go to heaven where 32 virgins are said to be awaiting them. This was the figure that I understood, although it seems that this figure may be as high as 72. This link will confirm my statement. I thought in all sincerity that my post was meant to add to the initial thread, regarding the terrible events that had taken place., and pointing out why I thought that the death penalty is inappropriate. I will watch it all when I can. What I have seen so far is VERY disturbing. I have heard all sorts of hints and heresy about a conspiracy to enable a war on terror to start. I don't wish to make rash statements, but I will be interested to see the rest of the video. The big question which has alway puzzled me, is why not a single military aircraft was sent to intercept aircraft which were know to have been hijacked.
