Tomorrow , June 21st is Mid summer's Day. Make the most of it for the nights will now start drawing in with Winter on it's way!

I try to look at it in a better light.....summer officially starts tomorrow and I look forward to 4 1/3 months of nice weather before it starts to get cold.

Mid summer for me is the end of July. B)

Thanks Doug - that has really cheered me up. I love the thought of the dark, cold and rainy days to come - I am fed up with all this good weather.

As it is mid-summers day and being an Englishman living in Scotland and not wanting to appear too foreign to the local community I decided to join in with the local festivities and rituals today at noon. I danced naked around the standing stones in Duns park, in an anti-clockwise direction of course.

I guess not a pretty sight, but ten out of ten for joining in community frolics :clapping::clapping:

If it was anywhere near as cold in Duns as it was here in Yorkshire I am sure the only things that would have been standing would have been the stones.

I'm out on bail at the moment, the case isn't expected to be heard for another three weeks. We are seeking the wisdom of the town elders for our defence, especially the Druid that lives down the road.

As Thos has suggested, I can always re-enact the occasion and put it onto video and email it to you if you wish Artist. B)
