Watchful
As well as learning how to spell, at school, lots of reading makes you good at it. Book-reading is in decline today and that's a great shame in my opinion. Another skill which seems to be ignored nowadays is handwriting. :(
catgate
Another skill which seems to be ignored nowadays is handwriting. :(Even though I went to school when a wooden blackboard duster was looked upon as humane treatment for the back of ones head, my writing is so bad that, besides sometimes not being able to read it myself, I am often mistaken for a doctor. ;)

andsome
Since having a computer my writing has become practically illegible. All letters etc are now done on the keyboard, using two fingers.
doug
To my utter shame and regret, spelling and grammar have always given me great difficulty - perhaps my brain is not connected properly?
