catgate
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbEv0T2rwgo He is a funny mixture of clown and sage. Much of what he was saying makes an enormous amount of sense.

Robbers Dog
Sky News seems to have a pro Israeli, pro USA stance in their reporting.Could it be that they are following Murdoch's neo con approach as to how the rest of the world should be run?Democracy as long as its USA approved. AlanHo
Sorry everyone......when listening to the message....and I have listened.......I look at the clown delivering it...and he is a dangerous clown.....I still see him as he portrayed himself on Big Brother!!! How can you take this chameleon of a politician seriously? I entirely agree - some of what he says makes sense - but he is a dangerous extremist who does not merit the exposure given to him by the media who court sensationalism as a means of making extra profit. edbanger
but he is a dangerous extremist who does not merit the exposure given to him by the media who court sensationalism as a means of making extra profit. There is no sensationalism in Galloway's comments about Israel. It's the Israeli military who are killing hundreds of civilians by their indiscrimate shelling and bombing of towns and villages in Lebanon.Without the billions of dollars in aid given to Israel every year by America, most of it to buy weapons, a lot of the problems in the Middle East would cease to existAs for being a dangerous extremist, you should look more to Bush and his right wing cronies. expertec
a lot of the problems in the Middle East would cease to existYou regard Israel as a "problem"?
AlanHo
Young people possibly see the Middle East problems from a limited perspective - simply because they have not lived long enough to fully appreciate the history of Israel, why it was created and by whom. A trip to the library history section may result in more informed and even handed comments. The one thing - possibly the only one - that I will concede about George Galloway, is that he has read his history and has considered the events over many years and not just the last few months. It is a pity that he can only see one side of the problem and is thus unable to offer a reasoned solution.

gordythegouge
As a last word....by me anyway.....on a subject that has probably taken too much valuable time anyway.... Mr. Galloway has Not presented a balanced reaoned argument....what he has done is give his opinion....which is not he same thing! If all the historical precedence is weighed up and presented in a manner that takes in all sides of the argument... then I don't think it is possible to accept the polarised opinion that Gorgeous George has presented to the public! He......and I stress that this is just my opinion......has made a name for himself.....by taking an extreme view on many subjects.....in full knowledge that such will earn him the notoriety and fame that he so desperately seeks and that......in my opinion again.....he does not deserve! End of story! :P
