Last night I won in the doubles at one of my bowls clubs. We draw lots for partners, and last year I was runner up. The forum has 10433 members but I suppose not everyone will come............. .It was 'Open Day Doubles'. The first matches are on the first day of the season and are open to all club members. This particular green is not very large, so men have no advantage strength wise. As it happened the semi finals and final were all male, there are not many lady members in this particular club. :D I have not won the lottery, I don't expect many to attend as there are only a handful of active members.
