Re-unions....

- - - and where are you seated, Irene?
Far right hand side as you look at the photo, pops.

The three of us on that side have maintained contact mostly throughout, since I left school in 1962. The one standing behind me, Linda, was my bridesmaid when I got married the first time! The one to my right, Sue, very kindly accommodated Linda & myself overnight.

We had a wonderful night, an excellent meal, and have arranged the next dinner date for approximately three months from now.

It's amazing when you get together and begin recalling times past. Often, having completely lost an event from memory until a prompt recalls it. Fabulous experience. I would recommend it to anyone! :)

The most fantastic thing is that everyone looks and sounds exactly the same as the last time we met years ago, once you get to start chatting. Even the aging process disappears; you are back almost 45 years ago!!!

Well, did you miss me? I have been away overnight for the Reunion, as mentioned earlier last month.

Well, I missed you, Irene. I had wondered whether you were away, or ill, or something. (I had forgotten you had told us about the re-union)

I liked the photo and I must say without being patronising, that it really doesn't look like a group of pensioners! More like a gang of gals out on the pull.

Thos.

Thank you for the compliment, Thos.

As far as being on the pull, it never entered our minds. However, there was a table right next to ours which had about eight elderly gentlemen, who appeared to be having a re-union if some kind! ;)
