I recorded the qualifying and watched it at 7am. Great. I am really looking forward to the new season.

Don't like the "Earth" colouring of the Honda though, and it will take me some time to get used to Renault's new livery.

The kid dun gud innit.

But, with his sponsorship past, it was expected, but may be not as quick as this.

But all that aside, I have never understood how we have come to adopt this strange American word "rookie" to mean "newcomer". Rooks are big black birds or chess pieces. Can anyone elucidate please?

According to http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/rookie it is a variant of the word 'recruit' dating back to 1890!

From the American pronunciation of the word...."ruicret". I see. It all becomes clear now.

I agree. My forecast:-

1. Reikenen.

2. Hamilton.

3. Alonso.

Blimey - you were nearly right. Can you please give me a forecast for the lottery numbers.

I thought it was quite a good race. Something different to watch when you have insomnia.
