BBC ISP survey.

Yes. It was on in the background whilst I was reading but it was very odd. The conclusion was that BT was the "best" ISP and TalkTalk the "worst".

But this conclusion was marred somewhat in that TalkTalk also came 3rd "best" and BT also 2nd or 3rd "worst". This statistic was never satisfactorily explained away.

Thos.

There was a program on about three weeks ago looking at the complaints figures, ITV I think it was on. The three top rated worst ISP's were Talk Talk, then Sky followed by Bulldog. All figures collated for these ratings were from OFCOM.

It was very sad, amusing and enlightening. Both about aunty Beeb and ISPs.

It proved to me that neither the Beeb nor the ISP's cared much about the consumer, as long as they were making money/programmes. But that's the way the world seems to be. SERVICE is a dirty word.

Confusion rules!

Figures like that are totally meaningless without considering the proportion of the market that each ISP holds.

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
