catgate
"This is the vision at the very heart of our brand," said London 2012 organising committee chairman Seb Coe."It's not a logo, it's a brand that will take us forward for the next five years," he told BBC Five Live.He has obviously had the services of Alister Campbell to call upon. How big will the Olympic carbon footprint be, and who will be wearing the shoe that makes it??? The cost is peanuts to Red Ken and his congestion money, or to Tony and his congested head.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
And why did they have to use Japanese characters in the logo, when the event is actually taking place at the other side of the planet?
andsome
Is it any different to what people expected? Just take a look at what passes for art these days. At least it isn't submerged in formaldehyde. :D

Who on earth has been paid this kind of sum? My granddaughter could have thought that up for nothing, and she is only eleven.

AlanHo
I really like THIS alternative.Thos.There are 10 ideas - which one do you like.I see the bookmakers have revised their odds on the logo being changed before the end of this year - they are now 10 to 1. I personally don't care which logo they choose - the olympics have failed to grab my interest ever since they allowed professionals rather than limit it to amateurs. It is now just another excuse for greedy so called celebrities and large commercial interests to cream off the money - like with UK football.
