I have a 14 mo old Dell E310 and it doesn't get much use, keyboard wise. It's never been wet, still has original batteries in keyboard. PROBLEM: Missing keyboard strokes, 6 times so far in tis post. ANY CLUES WOULD BE HELPFULL

thnx, dusty

Could this sentence be the clue? It can be a symptom of exhausted batteries.

Is it possible to borrow a friends keyboard to try that out before you shell out money?

Maybe I have discovered a twist to this deal....I have no missing keystrokes in OE, only on forums or forms....

does that narrow it down at all??????????????

Just uninstall IE7 by Control Panel - Add and Remove Programs

(make sure you have Updates ticked so it shows)

That's weird, I clicked on IE7 and it said the last time I used it was 2/17/07

There was nowhere there to tick updates

Despite the above, this is copied from "system information"

Version 7.0.5730.11

Build 75730

Application Path C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer

Language English (United States)

Active Printer Canon PIXMA iP1500,winspool,Ne01:

Cipher Strength 128-bit

Content Advisor Disabled

IEAK Install No

IE7 shows on my PC even though I haven't clicked on the Update option:
