Tankus
My head sort of bobs up and down between the board and screen, as my two fingers do their slow dance.........so its occasionally.......

Sir Radfordin
Providing I don't have to think about what I am going to type, which is most of the time, then I can clock up to 70wpm which I don't think is bad for a bloke :)
artist
Mixture really. I'm quite fast though and fairly accurate. :)Having said that - I made two mistakes in that short sentence. :D

Adwanoc
Aye. People tell me that I don't type right. I use all of the fingers, but they tell me they are not in thr right places. They ridicule me for having poor typing skills yet I can still type twice as fast as them, and I can type without looking. Its funny. Once you get used to putting your fingers and hands in a certain place, you begin to sense where they should go.

pj123
Yes I can type at 70wpm. I am an IT Trainer and teach City and Guilds IT up to level 3 and also RSA Wordprocessing up to level 3. I have City and Guilds Certificates and RSA Certificates and also hold D32 and D33 Trainers Certificates. I don't see how I can be called a Teacher if I can't type myself. don't ask
was taught by a very firece lady :scared: still have to look to do the numbers - and to make sure I am pressing the left shift key and not the Ctrl button ............ oh yes ....... and to make sure my fingers are on the 'guide keys' (even although there are little dits on the keyboard to help solve that one)
-pops-
I find myself typing and not looking but as soon as I think about it, I can't do it. I asked the missus to watch me working without me being aware of being observed and she said that I spend most time looking at the screen when typing. I can also use the numbers above the alpha keys without looking but not the right hand keypad.I use a M$ Natural keyboard (one of theose split ones), have done for years, and it is only this I can type on at all. Totally hopeless with a conventional one.
