The other lot as you call them are in the main untried, and we have no way have knowing how they would perform until, as and when the time occurs. It's no use going back in time for comparisons, it's now and the future that is important. Are you saying that you are happy with things as they are?So we should ignore history and not learn from our mistakes.I say again, it's no good looking back, it's the future that is now important. Of course we must learn by mistakes, but mistakes have happened regularly over the years, on all sides. I am sure that the Tories have learned from mistakes they have made in the past, the big question is whether labour will learn anything from the last ten years of fiasco. How far back do you want to go as regards learning from past mistakes? Let's go back to Wilson, Callaghan and others if you like. The thing to do is to look forward. I asked "where are the Labour supporters", and you came forward with statements about us lot voting for the other lot. This does not have anything to do with the wrongs of this administration. There are numerous examples of current problems mentioned in this topic, is it your intention to offer any defence for the government, or do you intend to continue making irrelevant comments about 'the other lot'? I have never voted for either Labour or Conservative for years and have no intention to do so. There is NO way that I could vote for them now, as they would sell us completely into Europe, and we would be governed from there 100% instead of the 90% or so that Labour, and before them the Tories to a lesser extent have given away.
