Chris
Mine does although it is three and a bit years old. It's great at collecting dust as it never gets used.
AlanHo
I recently built a new computer and decided to omit the floppy drive. All my old floppy records and programmes are now backed up on an external hard drive, CD's or DVD'sA month later a friend asked me to edit some design work I did for him 9 years ago - and brought round the floppy disc I gave him for me to work from.Fortunately - a friend had an external floppy drive I was able to borrow.Hence the lesson is - if you decide that your next machine will not to have a floppy drive - make sure you copy all your old floppies to other media. -pops-
I've answered "no". One of my machines (out of three) does have a floppy drive but, I almost never use the machine and its floppy even less.
Mike567
My floppy drive is just covering up a hole, its not plugged in etc the floppy cables are too fat so it distrupts my cooling.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
It used to be a very good and easy way to quickly transport some data between non-networked computers. Of course very limited size.I still have a floppy drive on all my computers, but with the advance (and vast size capacities) of flash memory devices, there will be no more need for a floppy drive in my future computers. I still have a shoebox full of empty floppies - anyone?
-pops-
I, too, have a large number of redundant floppy disks but also a lot (about 100) ZIP disks containing pictures which I'll have to sort through one day.
Scarecrow Man
I have several on a shelf, readily available should I need it (but have not yet)
Watchful
Yes, in my seven-years' old pc but I never use it except to blow the dust out.
andsome
Yes mine does. It can still be useful for storing small items on, burning a CD can be a waste of money. :D
AlanHo
I once owned a computer with an LS-120 floppy drive which stored a massive amount on a disc - I guess 120 MB - but my memory is none too clear on the exact figure.. What a flop of a floppy that was - soon made obsolete by CD writers.
