AlanHo
headline in today's "Cotswold Chronicle"TRAFFIC GRIDLOCK IN THE COTSWOLDSTraffic was brought to a grinding halt today by a massive tailback of frustrated drivers stuck behind an old jalopy pulling a caravan at little more than walking pace. The old folk off on holiday were totally oblivious to the mayhem they were causing - seemingly determined to do their bit of moderating.....traffic.Drivers are advised to steer clear of the Cotswolds until after next Saturday when the caravan fiends will be going back home.Jeremy Clarkson. bludgard
Another resident in the area, who chose to remain anonymous, said: "They have been really noisy, they've got some kind of motorbike that they keep whizzing around on"Taken from article in above link.Doncha hate it when that happens?
andsome
Bit too late now to say have a good time. Beautiful part of the country. More people should consider seeing more of our country before travelling thousands of miles abroad. We have done it ourselves, but now we are happier with a few days away over here. The lakes, Scotland, Cotswolds, Wales are all well worth visiting.:)

The roads were empty for the most part. (All the people had gone to the Bournemouth area) :D We were on a small site 3 miles from Stowe on the Wold - Pebbly Hill Nurseries - nice name.... Weather not wonderful all week, but hey, who wants to go sightseeing in the sweltering sun!
