MANEMAN
My wife and I have spent a very enjoyable few hours with another couple in a hotel.E'rmmm I'd better rephrase that a bit. My wife and I have spent a very enjoyable few hours with another Windows Forum member and his wife having light refreshment in the lounge of a local hotel here in Cornwall. Even as I write I know that they will be enjoying a romantic candlelit meal in plush surroundings. I sit here however , typing, with the aroma of a kipper simmering in the kitchen of the hovel that we call home.My wife, - bless her, - every Valentines Day, serves me a kipper burnt without fail to charcoal that can only be produced after many years of culinary skill, washed down with a long lost local brew of Tizer, followed by a suet pudden cooked lovingly for 3 hours, and strained through the gusset of a pair of her old knickers. And they say there is no romance left in the world. Happy Valentines Irene (And everyone)
Irene
This post has caught my eye Irene.A Happy Valentines Day to you. I hope you and Hubby did something romantic for today. Thank you Gandalph. However,if you want my honest opinion, I think that Valentines Day, Mothers Day and Fathers Day are all 'commercial rip-off's'. I would personally much prefer an unexpected bunch (not bouquet) of flowers, a dinner out etc., way from these dates. I also think that greetings cards for these days are outrageously expensive.Having said that, I am an extremely romantic person, so just carry on.... bludgard
Couldn't be more picture perfect.Luckily you guys didn't happen upon the pub that refused cheezy balls.Could have turned out a less favourable time capture.Possibly even a run on the local news.;)

MANEMAN
I'm a Sumo Wrestler, and the only exercise needed is that which is being done by my right hand in the picture. :lol:Alan had plenty of exercise that day visiting a Cornish Treacle Mine.
