AlanHo Posted May 5, 2018 Report Share Posted May 5, 2018 I have not been posting on the forum for several days because I am fighting a very painful UTI and I just can't get in the mood for levity. If the present course of antibiotics don't resolve it by Wednesday - I will have to go into hospital for intra-venous antibiotics etc and be catheterised. I'm told that for a man my age - there is the danger of sepsis developing. Knowing my recent luck - they will cure the UTI and give me mrsa or C.diff instead. 18 months ago, my sister-in-law left hospital after a triple bypass with both. The mrsa is now cured but regarding C.diff the malady lingers on. It's being so cheerful that keeps me going. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

catgate Posted May 5, 2018 Report Share Posted May 5, 2018 Oh dear. I dislike the inside of hospitals these days, but In my crust earning years I was a fairly frequent visitor behind the scenes.
