nellie2
Believe it or not I have never bought memory on line. I have always gone for a generic stick at a comp fair. This time I thought I would have a look at crucial or anywhere else that is recommended. Any recommendations? My question is, is there a British Crucial site or will I have to buy in dollars... anyone bought from them before? Do you have to pay anything to customs? How about postage and packing.... is it a lot on top of the price???Questions questions.... right I'm going surfing for hard drives now. :)

-pops-
ALL my memory sticks (several dozen by now) have come from crucial. First class company with an excellent returns service (if necessary) and quick. I have even ordered on a Saturday and received on Monday. You can buy memory via a questionaire about your system so if it is not correct there is an imediate replacement.I thoroughly recommend them. moon
Crucial all the way. Fast delivery, free, good packaging , selection service and above all their memory is guaranteed. B)Edit. The 'unknown' memory I bought on eBay was flakey.
