I know I made contact with several forumites on other boards but once I found Nels place it seemed more like home. An addition thanks should also go to those other boards for the support they provided.Thanks again Nel :rolleyes: This was the best smilie I could find so far. djohn Posted September 14, 2004 Report Share Posted September 14, 2004 I'm especially grateful to nel, she provided me with my own board on her temp forum so that others could post and offer suggestions to help me get back in here. Not many people would have gone to that trouble, thanks nel. :flowers:CC kept me up to date via email and also passed on suggestions from other members for me to try. Thanks CC :flowers: I can tell you it was a frustrating four days for me. I could get to the main page of the forum via various links but no further. I could see who was logged in and the titles but every time I tried to log in it said, I was already logged in and sent me off to the temp win forum. :blink:Even stranger was the fact that I did get in for a couple of hours on Fri. afternoon and made a couple of post, even changed to the XP skin and commented on it. Saturday I was locked out again and back in the temp forum on my own all day running riot until CC mailed me saying, "Boris has just managed to get in, give it another try". I did about 7pm and got in straight away, made a couple of post again, thought everything was OK then Sunday morning I was back in the temp forum again! :wacko: I have no idea how or why this happened. If it was a DNS problem, why was I able to get in on two occasions over the two days but at all other times directed to the temp. forum? Anyway I've been able to come and go since Sunday evening, stayed in all day to day and my win forum email is working fine, so all is well with the world. :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
