expertec Posted May 4, 2005 Report Share Posted May 4, 2005 Hehehe... no door knocking, but plenty of leaflets... all this about LibDems running a positive campaign is rubbish.All the Labour and LD leaflets are just slagging off the Conservatives, while the Conservative leaflets do put forward what they would do in office. Hurdy Posted May 4, 2005 Report Share Posted May 4, 2005 I reiterate what I've come across over the last few months.Most working class people are absolutely furious about the number of aslyum seekers/ illegal immigrants/ East European migrants.If public opinion carries over to the ballot box then I think there will be a significant rise in votes for the BNP/UKIP.Most of the people I speak to are vocal only in their hatred of Blair and his continual lies.The Lib/Dems are a lost cause.The Tories have been taken over by New Labour.The outcome?Because of various factors :-I.E. No viable opposition and the complete hijacking of the democratic process by the New Labour machine.Blair will be re-elected with a comfortable majority.God help us all.
