doug
Just to let you know I'm off again tomorrow for 2 & 1/2 weeks to South of France. The Country's OK andsome. 3 days in Nice then 2 weeks on coast nr St' Cyr. Taking wife and No.1 G'daughter. Sorry I haven't been around much the last few weeks but been on the poorly list with a chest infection. Barely able to keep awake most of the time. Anyway after 2 courses of antibiotics I'm a lot better and have just got back from a 4 mile jog, finally got below 10 min/mile. Been struggling all year up at 11 mins/mile with hip problem after the accident at Christmas. Going to have to work hard on holiday to get back to something approaching my previous health. Will look in from time to time, probably tonight before bed - early up tomorrow. -pops-
Enjoy the south of France. I worked there for many years and, although the novelty of it ended very quickly, I is still a very nice part of the world (geographically and geologically). In Nice, get away from the seafront and into the real city. Nice Etoile is a good place to head for and explore the places that tourists fear to tread (it's quite safe) a little further in from the sea. catgate
Sorry I haven't been around much the last few weeks but been on the poorly list with a chest infection. Barely able to keep awake most of the time.It strikes me that what you need is a little more exercise instead of a holiday!!!!As far as pops' Nice Etoile is concerned I have never seen a nice toilet in France!
