Rebuilt Posted February 4, 2006 Report Share Posted February 4, 2006 I find it curious the police want a closed trial atleast one of the girls sold her story to a tabloid only a few weeks back and posed for photos. The fact that the families have accepted the money and pleaded for the case to be dropped is almost as revolting as the crime itself. Although I do apreciate I have never had to live in abject poverty. I can only hope they get to keep the money and Glitter still gets shot!!!!! But it is too easy to believe everything the papers and TV report... if the guy is going to have a trial then let justice be done, as well as it can be done. Don't forget though, he was found guilty in England and served a jail sentence, then he fled Cambodia because the police were after him for sex offences with minors.
