Life in general is good for most of us. Agreed?Realizing that.........yes there are problems with life in general.......political.....religious......blah, blah, blah. But those problems are pretty minor in the scheme of things. So rather than constantly focus on the negative how about proposing positive changes..........changes for the better.Yet some here remain the "glass half empty type" I am not used to that type of constant negative behavior as I have a positive outlook on life......or so I try. So riddle me this........why do some here always focus on the negatives.........you know......"The sky is falling/Chicken Little" type folks? Yep.....we are not perfect....that is why we have erasers on our pencils. But improvements were never made by those with a constant negative outlook but only by those with a plan, a vision and a positive outlook. So are you a whiner or leader? It seems to me this group is populated by a goodly portions of whiners. For the whiners here.....................a story. Either that or being similarly force fed irrelevances about the private goings on of total non-entity bimbos and himbos that have somehow become caught in the media spotlight. It doesn't help any that a very large proportion of our news media is owned by an Australian "magnate" of very dubious bona fides. Of course it seems that most of us on here are at least reasonably comfortable. This however does not stop us wishing to point out how much better, things could be for EVERYONE, if only some of the big issues of today could be sorted out. I don't think that we can afford to belittle some of the political and religious problems etc. In the States, it is a sad fact that there is in all probability far more people below the bread line than in any other advanced country. Let's point out that your welfare system is far worse than over here, and ours is FAR from perfect. Let us not forget that there is still more racial hatred in many American states than in most countries. It is only in recent times that the so called land of the free, has offered even basic rights to huge swathes of the population. Don't let us forget the thousands of poor people in Florida, who two elections ago were fiddled out of their basic right to vote. There are many more problems of this nature in the States than in most civilised country's. I see no harm wherever we look in drawing attention to the problems that unfortunately exist.
