deuces wild Posted April 14, 2006 Report Share Posted April 14, 2006 We are having 20 people over for Easter and will be serving (buffet style) spiral sliced ham (glazed with honey), smoked garlic sausage and sauerkraut, veggie dishes (my wife is making a broccoli casserole), scalloped potatoes and mashed potatoes. Most of this is usual foodfare for Easter dinners in the US. What are your traditional meals for Easter?BTW: A Blessed Easter to all. There is a push recently to eat turkey but I don't think that has really caught on.It's my eldest grand-daughter's birthday on Sunday so we are over there for lunch followed by her birthday party (she's eleven). Dark brown wrapper with red and gold. Quite the best chocolate I've ever had - moreso than Lindt 85% and certainly better than any 70%.Good for the heart and blood pressure as well, apparently! I was going to get lamb at the store today but the smallest leg was over $20.00 and that was just too much since it's just me. :( Lamb doesn't seem to be very popular here so it's hard to find and expensive.So not sure what I'll have.
