AlanHo
Logged on this morning to find a red X and the words Site Message(message will close in 2 seconds)In the forum header. The message did not go away until I clicked on the red XWhat is this all about....?Edit : Just noticed that the message appears on every forum page I browse and also appears in the footer of a new topic page you open. I also noticed that if you click on a members name to see their profile the drop down list is superimposed on the left hand panel and cannot easily be read
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I have noticed the same thing, and wondered the same as you.P.S. if you click on the x the thing will disappear (until you go to the next page).
-pops-
Is there a message there? If it auto closes in 2 seconds, that doesn't give much time to read it, whatever the message is.

andsome
Beaten to it, I was just about to start a thread when I had finished going through the latest posts. I have stared very hard when opening a page, and there is definitely no message there, even for two seconds. I have also noticed the transparency when clicking on a forum members name. AlanHo
Beaten to it, I was just about to start a thread when I had finished going through the latest posts.Beaten by about 5 hours - as you will see from the post timings. You are not the early bird this morning andsome.I witnessed an awful motorbike accident yesterday and just couldn't get it off my mind - hence a night with little sleep and much internet browsing. Thos
When you see something like a road accident, alan, I find your immediate instincts to help override anything else and you try to do all you can. Then later, it really gets to you and the circumstances keep going through your mind. You need the sleep to get over it but you cannot drop off. Commiserations. Now the Site message. The thing is, it doesn't auto close anyway. I'll be interested in the explanation. ( it is also in the attachment box!)Thos.
