We are off for a few days walking in The Manifold Valley, in the Peak district. Our daughter and her husband found an old coaching Inn there. They reckoned that the rooms are very comfy and the food is something to write home about. This kind of short break suits us fine these days, since packing in doing the dreadful 'W' word, we no longer feel the need for long holiday millions of miles from home. I do hope the weather is good for you. :D I seem to remember going walking there many years ago, with the local Youth Club. Had a great time. Lots of boy meets girl, as it was in those days! . We don't stray so far these days, we no longer feel the need to visit places far and wide, there is so much that we have not seen nearer to home.
