catgate
If you are suffering serious backache one of the things you can do is rub it with salad cream (or get someone else to do it for you, if you can not reach comfortably) Lukewarm custard can sometimes give the same effect. rong
But does it work the same with mayonnaise, as people are to stuck up to use salad cream now a days and the custard I would usually have with a fruit pie or something, so wouldn't the bits be a bit painful. catgate
What many people do not know is that van Gough suffered from ear ache very badly, and that was why he cut off his ear. That ended his ear ache..., at that side. Sadly it just transferred to the other. It is very noticeable, when looking at his work, that, due to only having one ear, his spectacles did not fit properly, and, as a result, his angles and proportions are not as good they could be. In due course Picasso thought that this was why van Gough was popular, so he copied the style and emphasised the distortion. Picasso eventually got earache, from all the people who could said that his work was crap..Picasso could have rubbed lard into his ears.
