catgate
His eyes say it all. He contemptuously looks down on everything, particularly the electorate.
Gandalph
That's what I thought when I first looked at him. The eye's. They seem to be bottomless, cold and calculating.
-pops-
Shouldn't that be "eye" i.e singular?
catgate
He has little to look happy about.I see that his precious Smith Institute has been rumbled and exposed for what it is....another of his and New Labour's deplorable deceits. He would not even reply to questions asked by the Charity Commisioners about it, but they still pronounced it out of line, even though there are Brownies on the commision. He has now to take all the politics out of it before they do another survey in six months time. What he will do I don't know....that is all it was set up for. CurlyWhirly
I think that the sinking popularity of both the government and the PM are starting to have an effect as he looks sullen and has aged noticeably in the last year

CurlyWhirly
I've just had a thought. Brown could be classed as Britain's WMD. :lol:I think that the main reason that Brown is so unpopular now was because he was Chancellor for over a decade and his boast of "No more return to boom and bust"He was happy to take the credit when the economy was doing well but now as the economy is faltering, it's not his fault! Yes not to mention scrapping MIRAS (which affected me back then and still does now) tax relief on mortgages.Labour did well in the first term and even paid off some of the National Debt but, in the second and third terms, they overspent big time and didn't put any money away for the 'hard times' like now :(
