D4\/!d
Lara's Theme. The recurring "theme" - "Lara's Theme" (popularly known as 'Somewhere My Love'- as lyrics were added for pop radio) is today, instantly recognizable to everyone. (I can't hear that theme without "falling in love all over again" with Julie Cristie, who played the role of Lara - or who WAS Lara!) casey
I have been through the 45 tunes and cannot find it in there. Thanks for the suggestions.
Boris
The annoying thing is that I recognise the tune and am 99.9% sure I have the film it is from, but as I have well over 500 to watch/listen to .................. it will take me a bit of a long time to find it ! :D
Gandalph
Definitely not Ennio Morricone, not his style at all. I've seen all the Bond movies and definitely not from one of them. Although I recognise the music I just can't put a name to it. I will have a hard think and post back if anything switches the light on. :D
andsome
Hmm... I'm not really into downloading it either... can you post it as a webpage playable mp3? :D How about doing as suggested here. Watchful
I first thought of Ennio Morricone and a variation on Gabriel's Oboe but not sure.

casey
Thanks once again, that cured the problem. There is several versions on there, including one on the piano but I think I prefer the violin.
