deuces wild
....exercise?My wife and I do! She belongs to a local health club and does weight and cardiovascular workouts for 1 hour at least 5 days/week.I am not into health clubs and as I could no longer use the treadmill or walk outside for exercise I purchased a recumbent bike over the winter and have since been doing 'two a days' (35 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon) 6-7 days/week on it, burning some 325 calories/day and keeping my heart healthy. So how about you? ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I have been a member of a local health club for over ten years, but since I have visited only twice during that period, I have recently canceled my membership. So the answer is definitely no. ranger
Where I work I have access to CV areas, swimning, pool, free weights, classes, courses and all the health and excercise advice I could want, do I use it, never, I kow I should, but frankly after giving up football mant moons ago due to dodgy knees I just didn't have and still don't have the motive to train anymore :(
andsome
I play three matches of crown green bowls per week in the summer, then exercise my right arm in the bar afterwards. :D

andsome
What a lazy bunch we are - isn't life just beautiful B)Suits me fine. I could probably prolong my life by making it a misery and sweating profusely doing all the exercise that some fanatics do, but would have no way of knowing whether I had succeeded or not. I eat healthily and in addition to the bowls have a short but brisk walk now an again. That suits me fine. :D
artist
I would LOVE to be able to exercise!!We used to walk for miles. It's been four and a half years since I could walk properly. But - we went to a beach yesterday to try out the newly operated knee and things are definately looking up!It was the furthest so far.Another month and I'll be trotting all over the New Forest (I hope)
deuces wild
Most of the people of my vintage and of my acquaintance who used gyms, health clubs and the like are now dead so, no thanks.I wonder how much sooner they would have passed away if they did not exercise? With my disability I was not able to do the treadmill and was not working.......I started to put on weight. Since buying the stationary bike and starting a workout regimen I was able to stop using insulin and another medicine for type II diabetes and dropped 15 pounds. Believe it or not exercise is additive.........miss a day and you feel guilty and want to get right back into it. You don't know what you are missing!
