andsome
Thanks folks. If it's wet there can be compensations in the scenery when out in the car. We have been in Ireland and the lakes when torrential rain has fallen, and waterfalls etc can be quite spectacular. Neither of us walk too far these days. We are keen to visit here. We have booked in here. They have their own bistro, so that could be worth consideration for an evening meal. :D
catgate
They have their own bistro.. :DDo be careful. If a bistro is not fully trained, and quite familiar with people, it can turn nasty. Several have had to be put down for attacking and savaging elderly people. Apparently the small furry ones are not too bad, it is the large smooth haired variety that are the worst. Gandalph
All I said was that the Hotel advertised itself as 'Gay Friendly'. Andsome being the friendly and likes a laugh type of fella he is should fit in quite comfortably with the other guests.

andsome
Back again. We had a really relaxing few days. The hotel was excellent, very comfortable. The food in the bistro was excellent too though rather pricey. The centre for alternative technology is well worth a visit when in the area.. :D
