Can anybody advise on this?

I am using XP SP3, and am trying to resize pictures/send via e mail using the following method:-

1 Select Picture and Right Click "Send To"

2 Select from list "Mail Recepricant"

3 Select Resize OK

4 Should get E mail Proforma Page but I get a blank screen.

I am using Yahoo mail

I have a friend who uses this method and it works.

Any ideas on how to solve?

You can resize an image on right-click by adding this free power tool from microsoft (image resizer)

XP only

That's a very useful tool Seshomaru Samma, and thanks for recommending it. good.gif

I used to have it but lost it when I had to reinstall XP last year. It creates a real re-sized image rather than a virtual one which only changes the screen appearance of the image. Programs similar to Picassa (and most computer photography software that comes with cameras) change the screen size but not the actual database size. That's why some pictures that appear to be small can still take a long time to send by email, or can be rejected as being too large.

Both the XP power Toy idea given by 'Seshomaru Samma' and the Picasa methods are both good, and hence I am not now looking to find a way of resizing as per my original question.

But, and there is always a but, how do you resize a large PDF file?
