Tesco deserve all the stick they get as a result of this little episode. I have NEVER trusted them for meat, chickens eggs etc. I have always had the feeling that they go for absolute rock bottom prices, and bugger the quality.

What ...... I am subject to a tack ?

I can see that you are not one for gelding the lily ?

Please do not be filly !

Rein in your future replies, and harness your outbursts.

This is supposed to be a stable forum so I will just add a rider to say that I shall not foal around in this thread again.

I don't think I can compete with that and you win by at least 2 lengths. The odds are against me...................

I don't blame Tesco for this, they're a retailer and purchased a product from a supposedly reputable manufacturer who sourced what they had every right to expect was beef from a European supplier. This isn’t somebody making an error, this is criminal misrepresentation and fraudulent. Somebody was trying to make a quick euro and didn’t much care how they did it, they now have a very pissed off selection of large retailers very very pissed off at them, I suspect they’re going to be publicly crucified.

I was wondering whose burgers are best, Tesco or Sainsburys? Turns out that Tesco burgers win by a nose!

Horse meat found in Tesco burgers, camel toe found in Tesco leggings

People aren't mincing their words are they? Perhaps we should rein this in a little- it's all very unbridled.

Tesco, tracing your meat from stable to table...#

I had a Tesco burger last week and got the runs. 2-30 at Aintree

I don't know what all the fuss is about - it's not as though it was the mane ingredient

Typical of Tesco to flog dead horse.

This ascot to be wrong

Sarah Jessica Parker to front new ad campaign for Tesco's Burgers.

The point is that Tesco, Lidl and Aldi all seem to go for rock bottom priced goods. I prefer to buy my food from Sainsbury's and occasionaly M and S or Waitrose. The veg frequently looks tatty in the local Tesco, so i haven't used them for at least a couple of years.

We are a shining example of brand loyalty. We are loyal to whichever supermarket is giving out the best vouchers at the time. Morrisons were doing a nice fuel voucher before christmas but our local branch hasn't got a station and by the time you've gone to the nearest one and back your savings have gone up in smoke.
