Very nice grilled I am informed.

That’s the one. It was delicious baked in foil with a hint of garlic. We had it with salad, roast spuds and roast peppers

Going to try Irene's Salmon Pasta Bake today.

That was our meal this evening! - the rest of which had been saved from the original.

I also made some leek sauce and served the meal with a side of Asparagus, which was cooked in the oven whilst the Pasta Bake was reheated.

Extremely cost effective result.  ?  ?

Missed yesterday's report. It was another childhood favourite - cheese & potato pie served with tomatoes and bacon.

Today is fish - to be decided later.

The fish will be real kippers & bread.

It will be freezer use-up tonight:

Beef chilli (a batch which I made a short while ago); Frozen Petit Pois: Freshly cooked Basmati Rice;

...and delicious Actifry chips made with Maris Piper potatoes.

The smoked mackerel kedgeree was very good, quite different to the haddock version. Definitely worth a try if you like English kedgeree.

Today is ham in an onion & parsley sauce with new potatoes and mixed leaf greens.
