Irene
... that dratted 'word' which drives me around the bend! "YAY" What so called 'words' used these days do you find annoying?
Gandalph
"Innit". Now what's that supposed to mean. Something in a Jar or 'Isn't it'. I don't know. It does drive you round the bend though.
catgate
I do not think you should worry. In my 1936 Roget's Thesaurus there is no such word as YAY.
Gandalph
I think one or two word's may have been added since 1936 catgate.
catgate
You may well be right, but what was good enough for my four bears is good enough for me. I do have a problem though. When ever I want to ask any of them, anything at all, I can never find them.
Gandalph
I'm not surprised catgate.

Irene
The other one for me is: People are asked a question about 'whatever'. They insist on beginning their reply by, "So". "so" blooming what!! The 'So' is not connected in any way by the rest of their answer! If you have not noticed it yet, simply wait and see. What has happened to the grammar in our language? morty
I've been known to start sentences with ...So? ... too. Not much bugs me but after a good think about this there is one thing on forums that makes me growl sometimes. When someone is disagreeing with you about something and they get a snit on them and after smacking you down they add on the end ... as you well know. Or when they start a sentence with ...Actually.. You've got me going now ......
