Craig
Hi all,I've been looking into a future design for the forum, this has been going on in the background for the past 4 months or so on and off.Things are starting to pick up now, and although changes are still a few months down the line, the information provided in this poll will assist in some decisions that have to be made.I will be very grateful for as many participants as possible.Craig. Guest Blink_182_fan
i find that 1024 x 768 is better for me that 800 x 600 on my desktop

Craig
I thought i should point out what the reason of this topic is just incase you are putting two and two together from some other topics on the board. In no way will the layout of this board be changed so that it only fits certain screen resolutions. The board will always remain fully viewable no matter your browser width.Their is a but, but only a small one! A few months down the line i may want to add a feature to the board that may require knowing what the smallest resolution in use is. This is so it doesnt make the feature look untidy! This is many months away, and it shouldnt cause a problem for any member.Craig.

Boris
My "choice" - you don't see many of these still around ! :(
andsome
800 X 600. I don't like any higher than this on my 15 inch TFT. It's ironic that a 17 inch TFT would now probably cost less than my 15 inch did twelve months ago.
moon
Have you seen how cheap CRT's have become ? 21" for around 250. The same will happen to TFT's when LED's hit the mainstream.
Sir T Fireball
1280x1024 on a 17" TFTÂ B)Ditto :) Ditto on the blood splashes too :P
-pops-
Just been playing around with different resolutions and found them very confusing and disturbing. May be it's my advancing years but just couldn't get used to any other setting. Yes, it was a short time to give it a try but I found myself squinting at the screen with it altered to anything larger than 800 x 600 and it won't go to anything less.
