doug
Went for a jog half way through the holiday, could only do about 4 miles. My legs were killing me. Did some sums last night just after packing and worked out that I had walked about 120 miles, The Trike had clocked an actual 90 miles. This was based on the actual mileage clocked up by the odometer (that's the milometer thingy on the handlebars Nel). This is accurate and is based on the 20 in. front wheel. I carried my own Pedometer and had found that I was doing an extra 3 miles for Anne's 6. I did a lot of exploring of the terrain before going back for Anne. Amazingly I was also going out for a quiet stroll at night after getting Anne settled for the night. No wonder my legs weren't up to it for jogging. They were already worn out. :D
nellie2
thanks for explaining the odometer Doug.... I would never have guessed.. I thought it was a device for analysing flower smells!!! :P Wonderful flower pics... those gardens look lovely!

andsome
It's good to have you back again. Really glad that you enjoyed yourselves. The photo's are excellent. I would love to go there, but 'er indoors has developed a real dread of flying which has got worse over the years, so it's a no go I'm afraid. doug
There were several cruise ships coming and going while we were there. Met some people and they'd been having a wonderful time. Failing that there were many container ships coming and going. A trip on on of those might be cheaper. :D

Not only is she afraid of flying, she also hates long boat journeys. She will do Ireland because she does not have to try to sleep on the boat. doug
she also hates long boat journeys. In that case why not try and find a shorter boat. I've run out of ideas. :(
