Imagine yourself at the center of a virtual loop where all the windows you use are spread out around you. Whichever window you need to view can be centered in front of you with a click of a button.

Take this idea and zoom into your pc environment. With Deskloops, all the windows you have open are aligned side by side in a loop-like order. No more countless windows arranged one on top of the other in a confusing manner. You can access all the information you need and navigate through it easily.

The loop can be rotated clockwise and counterclockwise simply by moving the cursor to the edge of the screen and using right click.

Think of the loop as a dynamic rubber band; with each newly opened window the loop automatically grows. With every closed or minimized window, the loop becomes smaller.

Anytime you want to return to the desktop, double click on Deskloops tray icon and the windows will shift aside in one swift motion.

For those of you old enough to remember "Stuff-It" on the Macintosh, Alladdin Corp's nifty little product did exactly this. back in the days of the massive 1.44MB storage media known as the floppy, it was frequently the case that files to be copied to removeable media were much larger than 1.44MB even after compressing. Stuff-It allowed you to break the files up into 1.44 MB increments and then reassemble the files.

:)

What is The File Splitter?

The File Splitter is a free Windows program that will split any file into pieces of any size and later combine the pieces to form the original file. This could prove useful in a number of situations:

Suppose you need to transfer a file from one stand-alone computer to another. A floppy disk is often the only possible means for transferring the file, but if the file is larger than 1.44 megabytes, it won't fit on a single floppy. Simply split the file onto floppy disks, and then copy the pieces from the floppy disks to the other computer and easily reconstruct the original file.

Many email systems place a limit on the size of an email message. What if you want to email someone a file that is larger than the maximum size? Split the file into pieces smaller than the limit and email the individual pieces.

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages.

This is the official GIMP web site. It contains information about downloading, installing, using, and enhancing it. This site also serves as a distribution point for the latest releases. We try to provide as much information about the GIMP community and related projects as possible. Hopefully you will find what you need here. Grab a properly chilled beverage and enjoy.

THE GIMP

just try and you will find out!

it rocks!

which is a much better program than PhotoShop [i think]!

Here's a handy little customizable toolbar for windows.

Winbar

I find it handy, and very customizable, but I understand that some people can't stand to have some of their screen (and system recources) taken up by this program.

I use Winbar to keep track of my cpu usage, RAM usage, Internet usage, battery power, quick access to volume controll, winamp controll, and a quicklaunch bar for handy stuff like

spybot

ccleaner

Izarc

Foxit Reader

Power Defrag

Diskview

AVG free

minesweeper (I can't help the fact that I love that game)

try it and see if you like it.
