Putting in more than 1024, say 512 or another 1024, doesn't demonstrate such an obvious improvement and I only install more if the person I'm building for insists on it. The apps, services and processes that you have in memory the more responsive the PC. Can never have enough memory. I am rather supprized that in this day and age of memory hog operating systemns and applications that more more people don't have more memory.Most mid range machines today are coming with 512 and higher and high end machines today are coming with 1024 or higher.
