Dr Who

Who watched it then?

I did... it was brilliant, still corny but in an overacting kind of way which was very entertaining!

Dr Who is a UK institution of wobbly sets and alien scenes in the quarry and really unscary scary monsters :D

By the way, I know it is a cliche but when I was little I really did hide behind the sofa! :scared:

Must admit, after all the hype I was dissapointed. I will give another episode a try, and reserve judgment until then. My granddaughter phoned back after I had informed her it was on, and said, "granddad it was rubbish, you told me it would be scary".

It will have to improve a lot if Zoe and me are to carry on watching. I wonder how many forum members can remember the programme all those years ago. The sets were rocky, the acting was dismal, and the effects were useless, but it did have appeal. I used to watch every episode.

Me too, especially when the daleks were on tv with their garbled voices, "Exterminate, exterminate" :o

I wasn't that impressed with the first episode though, but I am reserving my judgement, as it is early days yet and I still have to look forward to the daleks returning.

I wonder whether they will look anything like the 'old' type of dalek or whether they will look totally different?

Only time will tell
