-pops-
My sympathy is with the family of the donor of his transplanted liver which he proceeded to pickle in alcohol shortly after he received it.

Thos
I believe that George Best was the second finest footballer I have seen (Pele being the best). He is one old-timer who would have walked into any present day team. I don't think others such as Stan Matthews or Tom Finney would stand comparison today.Remember him for his footballing genious.Thos.
andsome
A great talent that gave pleasure to many. Pity that it was wasted.

mark2
Some wonderful memories. The feats he performed in the first half overshadow the rights or wrongs of the second half. The final whistle has gone. No extra time.RIP George.

D4\/!d
Police admit that George Best was not in fact buried in Belfast last week and that in retrospect the decision to cremate him in Hemel Hempstead was a big mistake.
