If you ever go there and see a young, nice looking blonde hostess by the name of Dana tell her you said "Hi" to her father. :) Regarding the rain........it looks like it is over for a while. I have many questions.Have your balls or balls of others been under water or water logged lately? If so, how do you dry them off?What does your wife think about you playing with the balls owned by other men who bring them to these game for you to intentionally kick, hold and play with?NOTE TO ARTIST: This is an honest and sincere post. I don't play with other peoples bowls, only my own. The wet has no effect at all, and we carry on playing even in heavy rain. Some people carry a small towel on the green in wet weather to dry the bowls between ends. I prefer to apply something called GRIPPO, which greatly assists in gripping the bowl when wet. The skies were clear and temperatures in the mid 70's.The flooding and strong current on the river caused some major damage though, including docks literally being torn away from the seawall and sending them, along with boats into the Lake due to the flooding and strong current. There are also stories and pictures from other rivers in the area. I was at the boat early this morning and saw floating docks locked in a 35 degree angle from the seawall as they did not fall back down into place after the river level dropped. The river and Lake were full of debris and floating logs. With NE winds expected through Tuesday a lot of this stuff will be washed ashore.......a good thing for boaters. ;) Here was our view from our table today during a late lunch today with my wife and our friends:http://tinyurl.com/mjdk7 Sandusky Bay, Battery Park Marina. I have had an attraction to the water since I was a kid. I have owned and operated boats for over 25 years and my kids grew up on our boats.We had a wonderful weekend weather wise but rain is expected to move in tonight and stick around (on and off) all week, including the upcoming 4th of July weekend.
