-pops-
Far too many...Prescribed or not... ;)If I didn't take mine, I would be dead. I'm not afraid of going (almost been there already) but don't want to go quite just yet so I'll keep taking the tablets a little while longer. Thos
I'm not afraid of going (almost been there already) but don't want to go quite just yet so I'll keep taking the tablets a little while longer. That's interesting. I'm not afraid either. My wife and I talk occasionally to make sure each of us knows what is wanted. We try to tie up all the financial implications for each other as well as our heirs. It is going to come sometime and it isn't morbid to discuss it and leave matters tidy with as little work as is possible to be done.I think it was Bob Monkhouse who used to say he would like to die peacefully in his seat at work like his father did. Not like the screaming passengers in the plane his father was piloting at the time. :) Thos.

-pops-
One's whole attitude towards death changes when you've been in the situation where you've approached the pearly gates and seen St Peter holding them open for you (figuratively, of course).Curly Whirly, I've had two angioplasties with stents (five in all) and two bypass operations - one double and one quad. This is hereditary, both my parents had heart disease and I've outlived both their ages, thanks mainly to modern techniques and medication. I'm not prepared to go through another heart procedure so I keep taking the tablets.

andsome
The selenium content of the soil in most of the UK is very low. Everyone should take extra selenium in their diet. The daily UK dietary contribution of selenium from wheat-based products was estimated and the daily intake was calculated to be 6.4 µg selenium, around one-tenth of the UK recommended intake values for men and women.Taken from here
Watchful
I don't eat soil! Of course, we are talking added vitamins/minerals here and not about medication or drugs needed for a medical condition. Quite different.
